Cream cheese recipe

Bought some cream cheese not too long ago to make little tapas at home.

And then i was left with so much of it, i dont know what to do (dont wanna keep it in the fridge for too long and risk it getting bad).

And then i stumbled onto the most awe-sauce simple recipe for:

PASTA WITH CREAM CHEESE!!!

It is super easy, and since i did not have all the ingredients the original recipe called for. I made a little substituitions:

The ingredients:
spaghetti or whatever pasta
margarine, softened
dry basil
dry parsley
cream cheese, softened
oil
garlic powder

salt

Steps:
(A) Cook Pasta!
1. As usual, cook the pasta. I usually add some oil into a big boiling pot of water so that the pasta will not stick to the pot.

(B) Prepare Sauce
1.  Mash together the margarine, basil, parsley and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
2. Add oil (i used olive oil, about 1 tbsp), garlic powder and salt
3. Stir everything till they are all creamy.
 4. Add, little by little, the boiling water from the cooking pasta into the sauce.
5. Keep stirring till the sauce becomes a thick cream.

(p/s: there are no measurements cause as i always cook as i pleased, except when it comes to baking, hehe!!)


Then add everthing (cooked pasta + sauce) together and VOILA!!! an easy and yummy meal!


 For the pasta that i made, i have also added chunks of tomato, but i was thinking it will be much better with some salmon or chicken!  =)
