I cooked something that i think looks pretty awesome-sauce so i am gonna share it here!
I love eating fishes. But i find cooking fishes a hassle.
For example, i tried frying them but i dont know why they never turned out quite as i expected. They usually became oil-coated limpy ball of mass. Maybe i need to dip them into some frying powder before drying them?
Thats why i tend to buy salmon, cause they are easy to handle. Season them with a little salt, top with some onions and tomato slices, pop into the oven for 15 minutes and they are good to go!
For this dish, i also use salmon. But this time i grind them (with fried onions) all up into salmon paste. Season with salt and a dash of pepper and oregano, stir them till they are mixed homegenously, followed by frying them.
To complete the meal, i cooked some tomato-based pasta. Cook the spiralli till its all al dente. Oil the baking pan. Cut up tomatoes into slices. Place the slices in the baking pan and put some chopped garlic on top the tomato slices. I then add a little dry basil, and bake till the tomatoes turn tender (about 15 minutes or so at 180ÂșC).
Crush the baked tomatoes. Pour the spiralli into the baking pan. Add some tomato-based pasta sauce and mix them all up for a simple yet satisfying meal =).
